ICRAF is a forestry research
organization with offices in 46
countries in 5 continents. Delonix
has offered web services consulting
and has implemented a global intranet
that serves its entire office
staff in all the locations and
also its website. The intranet
and website are content management
driven systems that have over
20 applications that run business
processes. To ensure that it is
accessible in remote locations
that have poor connectivity, a
replicated version is implemented
key node loacations.
2. AISSA Network
The AISSA network is a forum
to share information and innovations
on sustainable agricultural intensification
to improve rural livelihoods.
We designed and implemented the
website that is driven by a content
management system for easy and
sustainable updating of content.
3. Insurance Company of East
Africa
Customer Service System (CSS).
This system implemented at the
Insurance Company of East Africa
(ICEA) that serves as a helpdesk
for recording client complaints/enquiries
and following up on the solutions
provided by the customer service
personnel.
4. Williamson Tea (K) Ltd
Developed and implemented a claims
tracking system. The system is
used for the tracking of company
insurance policy information and
the claims rose throughout their
branches in the country.

Interior Designers
Delonix was contracted by this
leading firm of architects and
interior designers to carry the
below assignments during their
computerization process: -
- Company domain registration
and hosting
- Website design
- Supplier selection and liaison
during the procurement of their
ICT equipment

6. AIG Kenya Limited
Some of the projects are as highlighted
below: -
o Target marketing Tool. An important
business solution for ALICO Kenya
which helps the management in
analyzing current product sales,
lost business, potential clients,
and sales follow ups.

Claims Payment system. This
is a system specifically developed
for insurance firms for the
purpose of managing client claims
for registered policies and
the payment of the same as well
as suppliers. The system handles
payments done either by Cheques,
bank transfers of Electronic
funds transfer (EFT).

Bank Cardholders system. This
is a system developed and implemented
at ALICO Kenya’s Accidents
and health department which
operates a special scheme for
bank credit card holders who
wish to take a special personal
accident cover with the company.
The system has facilitated accurate
reports for the management and
the users

Management
Reporting Tool. This is a system
integrated with PMU system for
the generation of user defined
and parameterized reports. The
reports are mainly business
performance analysis reports
such as production, claims reports,
underwriting, budgets, and broker
performance.

Quotation
System. A system for preparing
client quotes based on set risk
parameters.

File Management System. The
system is developed to manage
the requisition of policy files
and issuance of the same by
the filling clerk. Promotes
efficiency and control in file
and document movement in the
office.

DataConsole. An important tool
for consolidating data to eliminate
duplication and redundancy in
the already implemented system.
This exercise is important in
preparation to migrate the data
into an insurance system to
be implemented in future.
7. Symbion Group
Delonix has developed implemented
a corporate intranet for Symbion
Group offices in Kenya, Uganda
and Botswana. The system handles
disbursements, Timesheets, Inventory,
drawings register, fleet management
and company directory.
8. Intersoft Limited
Offer consultancy services during
the purchase and implementation
of IT equipment and infrastructure
layout. Also designed the company
website as well as a time management
software for Intersoft Limited.
9. Software Builders Kenya Ltd.
Develop and implement a system
for its client – FIDA Kenya.
The system helps in the capture
and processing of field data collected
to monitor violence against women
in health institutions.
10. Marmanet Caltex Petrol Station
Developed and implemented an
inventory system to monitor the
sale of goods and petroleum products
in the petrol station. The system
has been a major success in stock
movement control and revenue collection
by the employees. The same solution
has been implemented at Paws Service
station ltd in Kitengela
11. United States International
University (USIU)
Committed our team of consultants
to offer training to IT students
in the university in software
development and implementation
using visual basic 6.0
12. Marge Communications
Developed and implemented a calls
management system (dialMaster)
to capture and process data output
from a PABX to enable client billing
for calls made.
13. Ideal Bins
Implemented a solution dubbed
“GabSystem”, software
that manages client directory,
garbage collection schedules,
paper distribution and financial
summary reports.
14. Sacco Advantage
This is a complete Sacco solution
with back office, front office
and Sacco accounting modules skillfully
developed for implementation in
large and medium size societies.
Currently the application is in
use in the below client sites:-
o Sysco Sacco Ltd. The Sacco has
a total number of 50 members drawn
from the Symbion Group of architects.
The Sacco operates the back office
modules of the system
o Haco Sacco Ltd. The Sacco has
250 members drawn from the Haco
industries. The Sacco uses the
back office module.
